I would caution anyone against listening to MASE re: crypto.

Crypto has been around for long enough that anyone who has even a moderate level of involvement with it knows how the reporting of gains and losses works.
His statement not only demonstrates a willingness to speak on issues about which he has absolutely no knowledge but that he isn't as deep into crypto as his posting would suggest, as he would have gone through the reporting of gains and losses on his taxes several times just as many other posters here have.
It's yet another confirmation that the people who are the loudest or speak the most confidently on a subject are often not the most knowledgeable. |
