There are many good Film scores never released as isolated audio tracks

Why is this medium so ignominiously disregarded by the public? Literally no one cares afaict, even though it is essentially the contemporary analogue to classical composition.
As an example, you can't find this Bruce Broughton score anywhere except as an obscure video upload on YouTube:
