Associates that were like 2-3 years ahead of me were MINDFUCKED that I was able to do this -- even the ones that didn't have student loans. This was especially true given that, on a first approximation, we were basically living the same lifestyle.
I think the difference is that I didn't have the urge to mindlessly blow money on stupid GC shit as soon as it came in. Even many high IQ people are quite susceptible to this -- although not as much as true proles. |
