Don’t despair, my fellow wayfarer in the journey home ❤️
If you’re an earnest soul (aiming for Heaven) being overlooked and undervalued, then wholesome Earthly consolation will be pleasantly thrown in when and how you least expect it.
If you’re a wayward prodigal son who has aimed for Earth to the detriment of cultivating windows to Heaven, then it’s never too late to get faced in the right direction, towards the sunrise.
The turning away from darkness to Light tends to be painful at first (a rite of passage for us all that is never fully complete in this life), but an incredible relief once we begin to accumulate baby steps, which then begin to snowball in our favor and pick up momentum, where virtue starts becoming second nature.
Holiness inevitably leads to happiness, a peace which surpasses understanding;
Sanctity inevitably leads to sanity, a feeling of sanctuary amid the storm.
Probably TMI, but I hope there’s something helpful here.
“Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.”
- Robert Louis Stevenson

I understand, and wish to continue ✝️
