since the end of the last glaciation sea levels have continued to rise tiny amounts each year. we knew that before CO2 started rising. we have good records from the Battery in Manhattan starting before the Civil War and well before CO2 started climbing.
the CC crowd makes the claim that sea level isn't just rising, it's rising AT AN ACCELERATING RATE! they did six scenarios from small acceleration all the way up to worst case. and they plotted the six cases out for everyone to see.
then a problem arose. the sea kept rising at the same tiny rate and was rising slower than the best case scenario. so what did the CC crowd do? they kept the six scenarios and just shift their prediction out another two decades.
