I've read your explanation in the past for why it's happening and found it very convincing
Can you please lay it out in your own thread and explain how it can be prevented? Based on your explanation, the slowdown is not an intentional act being done by someone, but rather a byproduct of them attempting to anonymize their connection to the website. There may be a way for this person to achieve what they want using a different method that doesn't slow down the site

Yes, he should. But that's clearly not going to happen. So if we want to solve the problem, we're going to have to do it ourselves
The problem is being caused by someone unintentionally, and not in bad faith. If we can approach the individual causing the problem and offer them an alternative that gives them what they want without continuing to render the board unusable, there is a very real chance they might accept it
There are no other alternatives I can see that would solve this problem
