Who could ever be more stylish than Cary Grant, Sean Connery, or Frank Sinatra? I might have looked to the past for inspiration, but what I craved more than anything was super modern style that wouldn’t break the bank. It all started with the white twill shirt. My first ever sale might have been to my dad (what a legend!), but it took off – sort of – slowly. To go from a single twill shirt to the many millions of white shirts we’ve now sold makes me feel I was right to turn down that first job as a trainee town planner. The breadth we now offer - the collars and cuff styles, the fits, the sleeve lengths – is huge. When you wear Tyrwhitt, when you put that shirt on your back and look in the mirror, I hope you too will feel like a Hitchcock hero, James Bond, or perhaps the Chairman of the Board.
