4-to-6-Foot

* 4-Foot Controller has buttons X, Y, A, and B on the front right side, with Z and C bumpers on top of controller alongside L and R triggers.

* 6-Foot Controller has buttons X, Y, Z, A, B, and C on the front right side, the top part not only shows the L and R triggers, there is also a Camera button located where the C bumper was on the 4-Foot Controller.

* Both the 4-Foot and 6-Foot controllers each have a D-pad, two analog sticks, and three center buttons (Mode, Home, and Start).

TC, I find this idea fascinating, not just to imagine in terms of the design and functionality, but also how it would be positioned in the current console market. Would you foresee this device having streaming functionality, and compatibility with HBO Max and other apps? Should Sega get into the streaming business (gaming or other media)?

What about building in a Saturn emulator? This would be huge. Basically only 5% of the people who want to play Burning Rangers have played Burning Rangers. It's just too much trouble. Sega could capitalize hugely on their back catalog.

I have taken the liberty of completing a mockup of your design: https://i.redd.it/ez54y721yqq71.png . I am partial to the 6-foot controller atm, although a 4-foot mockup will be forthcoming. I have some questions btw if you don't mind:

Does 4-foot/6-foot refer to the size of the controller? Diameter? Radius? Or perhaps the length of the cord?

Can you re-consider 4-players local play? That just has some negative associations with the past for a lot of people. We are looking to the future where online play is the name of the game.

Should Nintendo titles be available in the E-Shop? Would Nintendo allow this?

Anyway, feel free to redline my mockup and provide any feedback that I can incorporate into future revisions. Note that I am not going to be personally taking this idea to Sega and even if I did, you would receive full credit.

EvilResident, cut this guy some slack. There could be major potential here between Sega's back catalog, proven track record in delivering quality hardware/software, and appeal across the FULL gamut of the gaming populace (no other company arguably descended to deeper deaths or higher heights in terms of clientele). "Nah,” isn't just dismissive, it's demeaning to TC, to the board, and to yourself. In other words, knock it off.

This new SEGA equipment you are talking about should also have a hidden EMP device that autodetects any Nintendo Hardware in the proximity and activates a killing pulse, destroying their circuits for good. Wouldn't matter if the SEGA also died in the process, like a Kamikaze attack
