My wife is very good looking and went to an Ivy and it took me YEARS of dating and marriage to teach her normal auto maintenance--like why it's important to heed tire pressure and oil change warnings. I gave her a Cayenne and she manages to keep it clean and not in a disastrous state of maintenance, though she NEVER gets it washed.
Her BFF is a 9/10 who went to a lower Ivy and drives a Range Rover. (Eating disorder, plastic surgery, the whole deal.) She has no idea how cars work and not a week goes by when she doesn't scratch it, have some body panel get clipped off while driving over a curb, or where she doesn't run out of gas or have a check engine light go off. I have known her husband since high school and he's a super nice and well-off guy, but I feel sorry for him. It would drive me fucking nuts.
Anyway - how do women have ZERO interest in understanding how cars work. It's like a magical box to them that costs $100K and gets them to caffeine, carbs, and baby activities. (It reminds me of that old XO thread that mimicked the bird brain mind.)

to be fair, you are the guy and knowing what to do with a car is your job
on the other hand, hot women are vain and if they don't take it to a car wash it's because they don't know how. just show them how easy it is and the vehicle will be washed regularly.
it's your job to worry about the other stuff
