Formally, they will have business hours and they'll serve customers, but the wine itself will be shitty overpriced vomit. You'll buy a couple of bottles for $35 just out of politeness before you gtfo. The food will be shitty and basic, and the idea of going to another winery (let alone 5) won't seem attractive. You'll never see the wine for sale in liquor stores, only gas stations. There's no "Virginia" section in any wine store in the world.
