Never understood this. Crying and talking about how its the best day of your life etc, in front of your entire extended family+friends + her family you barely know + crowds of strangers.
This just never ever sat right with me, No amount of jewish romcoms and media will convince me this is normal and happened for 1000s of yrs of human history. This is fucking fake & gay bullshit & humiliating lol. The way these "weddings" are handled is completely irrational and mental and totally a modern construction. Im not buyng any of it, also a huge $$$$$$ scam but thats anothr thing

It wasn't as bad 40 years ago when you just went to the church down the street and the reception was a buffet at a shitty little event center or restaurant with a private dining room and then you called it a day. Yeah it was still annoying but it was like 6-8 hours tops so whatever, now these fucking weddings are multiday tamed ho hagiography events. It's just fucking ghastly desu. |
