He did the "Im out of time... Im taking too much time" stuff in the dem debates. Surprised no one has been able to shake that out of him.
Its a strange form of brain decay. You can SEE he's having the ideas, they are firing away. But he cannot quite get them to the communicative part of his brain, so he just appeals to your sympathy, "you know what I mean, man. You know it, jack. C'mon. I mean...."
What youre left with is the feeling that making him actually enunciate what he is thinking is unfair, akin to giving him a hard time
Also notable, and a little charming, is that he remains oblivious to the viewing audience. He beams his focus on the person of the interviewer, trying to get the point he cannot articulate across through shrugs and smiles and facial expressions, as if to call back to some earlier part of the conversation. It adds to the awkwardness of being a viewer, like youre missing something
