You’d be surprised.
The whole system is set up to identify you and make you quarantine under penalty of law.
If they know who you are, this will happen regardless if you do anything or tell them anything.
So don’t be tracked. Don’t use credit card, don’t make reservations, employer situations you are pretty much screwed.

One of my MFH friends ignored 5 contact tracing calls and then they showed up to his doorstep. The difference from my hypo is he was the one who tested poz (not a coworker) and initially wouldn't tell them where he'd been. I'm willing to comply to this degree but strongly prefer not to ever be tested for covid. Antibody tests are fine since a positive result means I'm basically home free for 6 months.
