That being said, you're an adult and you make your own decisions. You've got a blog that other people read and enjoy, and if they like this kind of posting and you like posting it, keep on doing your thing. I think you should probably consider making portions of what you publish less obviously written by LLMs, because people might judge you negatively, but don't take that as a blanket suggestion. I'm actually not sure that's correct. I might be wrong about that. I've definitely seen some pretty convincing evidence otherwise |

Regarding using LLMs for writing, my process is to draft a full first draft and then use the LLM for flow refinement - finding the right balance between use and not use is a tricky thing I am still navigating. You just gotta be careful because now that you've started using LLMs instead of doing your own thinking and writing, it's going to be very very hard to go back. It's like people who get hooked on increasingly degenerate pornography as they become accustomed to it and can no longer be satisfied without going further
You lose your personal expression that you had when you were thinking and writing on your own. No matter what anyone else thought about your output, or if it was totally accurate at the end of the day, it was YOURS, you created it yourself. That's worth something. I'd say it's worth a lot. Nobody else created the Jewish Central Banker Cinematic Universe or whatever you want to call it (not making fun). It's yours. Don't give that up, imo. |
