Date: January 25th, 2026 12:00 PM Author: Amber parlour I really enjoyed it. I was worried it was going to be too devastatingly morose, but it was filled with joy and light and wonder. I cried a little, but wasn't destroyed.
It's about 80 percent completely made up, but that's fine - it's unabashedly historical fiction.
I don't think Hamlet the play really tracks, but I can see how some of the king's speeches are really about loss. |

'Chloe" Zhao couldn't even make you feel sad for a child dying; the only time I felt any emotion was the end when the Max Richter song plays, and he is German and the song wasn't made for the Film.
