I'm sure they were useful in the past, but now they're either partisan propaganda or insufficient samples of people who answer their landlines and want to talk. And it doesn't even matter if they get an election entirely wrong. They'll just say they fixed their methodology and people will still rely on them if it confirms their beliefs
Prediction markets might turn out to be very useful, especially if get more accurate when they're no longer heavily influenced by inaccurate polls. |
