Business idea: theme park for Gen X/Millennials to relive 80s/90s suburbia

You can stay in a nice three bedroom suburban style house in a tree-lined neighborhood, with two Boomer actors playing a mom and a dad. You can spend the day riding bikes around the neighborhood, swimming at the local public pool, playing Nintendo. Only music from that time on the radio, only shows from that time on TV. At the middle of the resort, there's a huge mall selling the clothes of the time and of course, CD's.
If you choose to stay for a week or longer, there's a mock high school that you can attend, including after school athletic teams. If you upgrade to the silver package, you can drive around in a 1994 Mustang or whatever other contemporary car you choose.
For a high price, a limited number of people can buy one of the houses and live there. |
