I remember how bad the Gillespie years were, and he turned the program around in a very short time, with some of the best teams we've had. There are plenty of legitimate criticisms, especially for his later years, as an actual X's/O's coach, but he should be very warmly remembered.
Don't forget, Pitino went to Louisville. |

As a kid I remember going to. Rutgers vs seton hall game and these old fat Rutgers fans were shouting "Breakdown!!" at a young Danny Hurley who'd just come back from dealing with mental health issues. |

I filled out a few brackets, but my primary men's bracket was 92nd percentile and my women's bracket was in the mid-80s. I did some very small betting during the NBA playoffs and a bit more during the wnba season.
"Credited betting strategies" is probably too long of a topic for this poast. Have you ever bet on basketball at all before? If you follow basketball closely it's fun. I can point you in the direction of some knowledgable resources and then we can chat after.

I've intentionally kept my bets small as I am a lower middle classmo and I don't want to lose huge amounts while I'm learning. I plan on following ncaa very closely this year and hopefully making some extra spending money from it. I'm not delusional enough to think I'm going to get $$$ rich from it, just want to be slightly profitable and have fun watching the games.
I guess the question is: how closely do you plan on following college basketball this year? What's your base level of knowledge about the sport? Do you WANT to get more into it? It's not very difficult to pick up. |
