...BUT at the end of the day, it's also not REALLY a big deal, because "Americans still prefer Dems to Republicans" (even if in their personal lives they are increasingly choosing to literally take the time to register as Republicans by a widening margin for unknown and inexplicable reasons).

Factor in that unemployment is rising, inflation is creeping back up, and Trump’s approval numbers are plummeting, and I think the Dems will make some pickups in 2026, and are likely well positioned to retake the WH in 2028.
