You can afford it and life memories are priceless. Your stock portfolio probably drops or increases 10s of thousands every day/week. What would take 15K from there do for once in a lifetime memories. I'm not suggesting you blow money all the time, but 15K is trivial when you have over 1 million and you'll never get that time back with your family if you don't enjoy it now. I think that 15K may be a little aggressive and we should budget more. Remember, we are coming from a more expensive air market and I have 2 more people to pay for. But I think this is right. Our primary goals for 2023 are to get my wife a new job and to move the family from out shit town to a better town. We are already working on this. My personal goals for 2023 are to continue to lose weight and get into shape and also kick ass at work at maybe get my earnings up somewhat. I need to direct the ship and lead by example. Being fat, poor, and stupid is no way to go through life. |
