My kids have something almost every day but we never double up. so they usually get home, have something to eat, go to an activity, come home, do HW then have a couple hours of unstructured time to play with each other.
I see people picking their kids up from soccer and rushing off to another activity like baseball or something.
It's good to get exposure to a lot of things but it's hard to do multiple activities at a competitive level simultaneously.
