Date: March 18th, 2023 5:34 PM Author: exciting lake parlour lettuce very very minimal. creatine works by having your muscles at saturation. you can get to saturation quickly by loading, or slowly by just taking a medium dose every day, but if your muscles aren't saturated (and they WILL take on a lot of water as a direct result of being saturated), you're giving up almost all of the benefit.
I also read a long time ago, back when it was in vogue for scientists to try to figure out why creatine worked, that some argued that the muscle swelling *itself* provided some of the benefits associated with creatine. The argument was that the saturated muscles had better leverage in key lifts, and their larger cross-sections contributed to increased strength (that would partially be lost when ceasing creatine because it was a simple mechanical advantage, although some benefit from having lifted at a higher intensity for a while would be retained). |

Date: March 18th, 2023 4:50 PM Author: Mahogany Dysfunction I look "bigger" but I don't look leaner/more cut, if that makes sense? I definitely notice it in the gym - lifting a lot heavier/more reps and feel really good after my really heavy workouts.
At 18% bf but trying to get down to 12. I think I'll keep taking it + eating at a deficit and just go off it when I'm on vacation / going to be with my shirt off. |
