With that said this house isn't built like what I would expect from a nearly $7MM house. The views are beautiful, but I literally couldn't give a fuck. I'd rather have a $3MM summer house on Nantucket, a $2MM ski place in Colorado or Utah, and I could rent a house for 2 weeks a year in Maui for the rest of my life and be no worse for the wear. I find many houses above 3-4MM to be scams or at least very rare properties for people who are looking for things I don't need--like being on a specific street, having the ability to host enormous social gatherings, having a historical/architectural pedigree, being on an comically large lot, etc. |
