Date: June 17th, 2025 3:22 PM Author: onyx floppy business firm pisswyrm by transaction time i mean it's quicker to get someone out the door if they're using a credit card as opposed to filling out a check or having to count out their change. that's important in high volume small margin businesses like convenience stores. you want them in and out ASAP. also there's plenty of evidence that people spend more with cards than they do with cash.
cash needs to be transported from your store to the bank. you either do it yourself and assume the risk or hire an armored car. |

So if a client owes $10,000, and they pay that on a card, I have to pay a $250 fee. |
