This is most noticeable when they hold fork to cut, with knife in right hand, then lay knife down, and pick up the fork in the right hand instead of just holding fork in left hand and knife in right hand and eating like a normal person.

It is so noticeable when an able bodied person does it though. You immediately assume that they are doing this because they are missing a hand, but then you do a double take, and they have both hands.

Is it more of a faux pas to be obese and drip greasy shit on your shirt because there’s just so much of you, or to eat your meal holding your fork in the wrong hand?

I just don’t get it. When you come to a set table, the silverware is literally placed on either side of the plate by which hand you are to use to eat. Knife on the right. Fork on the left. Right handed forkmos baffle me.

Why is the table set with the fork on the left if you’re supposed to eat with your right? This makes no sense and is clearly wrong.

Definitely. Any personal preference in handedness when it comes to eating should have been beaten out of you as a young child by your governess.
