We’ve only had her for 3 months, keep in mind. Is a 20% increase after 3 months absurd? Wife likes her and thinks $15 for 2 kids is really low
I’m thinking we could ask her to do house cleaning as part of the increase. She works 32 hours a week and $3 extra comes out of $100 a week or $5000 a year which isn’t chump change for us. If she cleans the bathrooms and kitchens so vacuums the house once a week then it saves me the time from having to do it myself. |

We just raised our nanny from $25 to $27/hr and it was a no brainer. These women are raising your children (because hopefully your wife makes more than $18 or $27/hr post tax).
