Turd Girl Nanny asked for 20% raise. Give? Make her do house cleaning chores?

Date: May 25th, 2023 10:18 AM Author: Pale sandwich round eye Currently paying $15 and she said her tuition for her my masters increased and she wants $18. We’ve only had her for 3 months, keep in mind. Is a 20% increase after 3 months absurd? Wife likes her and thinks $15 for 2 kids is really low
I’m thinking we could ask her to do house cleaning as part of the increase. She works 32 hours a week and $3 extra comes out of $100 a week or $5000 a year which isn’t chump change for us. If she cleans the bathrooms and kitchens so vacuums the house once a week then it saves me the time from having to do it myself. |

We just raised our nanny from $25 to $27/hr and it was a no brainer. These women are raising your children (because hopefully your wife makes more than $18 or $27/hr post tax). Even if turdgirl isn’t the best, you should still keep her on just for continuity for your kid. Why break up your kid’s entire innocent world just to save a couple bucks? |
