I don't think the gorillas would know what to do with the grizzly. Are they really programmed to fight in any sort of coordinated fashion against other large animals? They aren't hunters, because they can they have the ability to digest grasses and other c4 plants.
OTOH a grizzly bear is programmed to tear everything to shreds and has unbelievable strength and huge sharp claws. They are tough as pitbulls too and will keep fighting until they literally drop dead. All animals in that general class of mammals, badgers, raccoons, you name it, have this insane ability to withstand attack.

A prime grizzly is like 1200 lbs with sharp teeth and large claws. A prime gorilla is like 400 lbs, no claws.
So this is like a 180-lb man with a knife fighting four 60-lb children.

But the gorillas are strong and cunning, especially in extreme circumstance. I’ve seen them perform extraordinary feats in the heat of battle, particularly when they are fighting together with their fellows by their side. One might almost call it valorous. At the Battle of Basken Ridge, I saw an elite silverback with most of his chest shredded open, ribcage exposed, bleeding profusely, carrying a comrade, injured even more grievously than him to the point of incapacitation, under his arm as if he were nothing more than a doll or some other trifling thing. With his other arm, he wielded a pulse weapon which he used to great effect, clearing the enemy ranks despite his state and burden, as he made his way to the east, toward the rally line. I report this not because it was an abnormal occurrence but because it and other things like it were routinely observed in my time among them.
