So she's bring in 400k, 100k of that goes to agents/manager/lawyer/publicist. Then she's in CA so half goes to taxes.
So that means *IF* you're lucky enough to land White Lotus, you're take home is 150k - to live in California.
Same thing in movies - Superman and Lois Lane each made $750,000 - and isn't like they were unknowns - Brosnahan has an Emmy Award.
If you do that math - to make a middle class wage in California you basically have to star in a Superman level movie every 3 years? That's not sustainable - which is why these people are all doing influencer shit. |
