i am trying to get something changed with my business at the irs and the state and the only option for both is mail. have already mailed the irs twice to no avail, sat on hold on the phone with them for 2 hours only for them to tell me to try again. something that should be solvable via the internet in 5 seconds if they allowed it.

There was a book a few years ago that described how federal agencies still used pencils and paper to keep track of massive budgets, some in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
