High contrast areas like that tell you everything. A digital sensor will try to interpolate using nearest neighbor algorithm, so when his white skin contrasts with the blue shirt there should be some dithered pixels. But that didn't happen here because his "face" was just superimposed over whatever image the sensor captured. |

You'd think they'd make his skin the same color all around. Do any of you have pale white heads with dark bands on the flanks of your neck? Why would a mask artist do that?
