any post that isn't about one of those hot topics gets shown to *no one*. not even your own followers
this allows smaller accounts to get more exposure, since it used to not show any of your posts to anyone outside of your own followers, period. but it means that if you want anyone at all to see your posts, you're locked into those normieslop "hot topic" categories
it's pretty lame imo. it was funny at first to get 10s of thousands of engagements at will by writing "women suck lol" posts, but it gets old fast. i at least want my quality posts to be shown to my existing followers who want to see them |
