The current doctrine is to shoot 2 interceptors for every one missile. So the US basically has enough interceptors for 2,000 missiles, assuming they have a perfect hit record. But you know they don't have a 100% hit record and you'll probably have to shoot 10 to 12 interceptors at a time to hit just 1 missile, so the US is basically out of interceptors in a matter of days.
And the Iranians are retarded. They're launching decoy/fake missiles and drones to specifically force the US to waste interceptors. |
