not flame. The idea is that there's no hope of saving you, but we can at least make your final days less painful. And shortness of breath can be a source of pain. The the risk of you becoming addicted to opiates is low. So nothing in the rules says you can use "shortness of breath" as an excuse to turn up dat drip
