1) was the turdeep vaping in an area where it was clearly designated (either by signage or universally-understood city ordinance) vaping was prohibited?

2) were the victim and kid free to take a few steps away from him? (Were they waiting in line and moving would have lost their spot, were they sitting with coffees or w/e, or were they just standing around?)

It’s sad this ended how it did but this guy could have easily and at no inconvenience whatsoever pushed the stroller a few steps away out of range of the “smoke”. Problem solved… if, that is, the “problem” was the perceived threat of the proximate vaping to the little girl’s health and/or comfort.

That, of course, was not his main concern. Instead of taking the easy and obvious path to going to sleep that night still alive, he had to indulge his “tough guy/protective dad” fantasies and confront a stranger, under the always-stupid assumption the stranger was not carrying a lethal weapon they were prepared to use.

To the best of my knowledge, there hasn't been a single credible study that has shown vapes are anywhere remotely as dangerous as cigarettes. Same with "secondhand vape".

This article from JHU is peak propaganda. If you glanced at it you'd think there were 5 points about why vaping is as dangerous as cigs but if you actually read them, there's not a single point actually made
