Anybody who’s been hospitable to Jews it worked out well for historically?

it works out well if there are clear "host-guest" relations set and enforced by the state
in states without a clear and defined sovereign you can't really do that though. america in particular is vulnerable to ethnic subversion in general as it relies on that more fragile concept of citizenship rather than an ethnic basis for defining the atomic nature of the national community
jews in general also get a bad rap here though and that's probably due to ignorance regarding the better parts of their religion and tendencies of their belief system. many jews also don't practice any of the worse parts of the talmud type shit and place their citizen identity above their ethno-religious one and anti-semitic tropes being used against those sorts is morally objectionable
i will say that jews do a very poor job of characterizing themselves and rather than educate truthfully about the nature of their religion and practices they instead choose to try to profit off of anti-semitism claims and turn garden variety ignorance into a casus belli towards non-jewish populations. they are fairly unique in this, as well. it's not something i've experienced with any other religious group.

there are examples of it working out well for the host populations: the ottomans, the netherlands (brought the world Spinoza, a thinker who likely wouldn't have come about under any other circumstance-set), burgundy, switzerland, a couple of the caliphates, england at times. there are also examples of it working out terribly: weimar was legitimately an atrocity against the german people albeit not one that is entirely due to the jews, hot take but the spanish and portuguese had legitimate issues with subversion and jewish discrimination against their host populations, and a smattering of other examples.
really depends case by case, which is an answer that leaves jewish apologists and zero tolerance anti-semites equally fuming.
