They never even learned the Pharaoh's name. They just called him "Pharaoh." Imagine writing a book about Obama, but only calling him "President" out of respect. Imagine never using his actual name once in the entire book.

Egyptian commoners called pharaohs by their names. Imagine George Washington referring to King George only as "King" and never saying his name. Never even once. It's that weird. There's one only circumstance where it makes sense to do that, and there's only one pharaoh who fits the bill. Once you hear the explanation you'll be like "oh yeah. Of course they never used his name." Otherwise it's a total mystery why jews won't say it.

The Jews were also in captivity in Egypt. Perhaps they were mistreated or simply saw the Egyptians as other worldly. It’s like how we don’t really see homeless people on the street or ask them their names.

Moses was a dream interpreter for the pharaoh. That was one of the most pretigious jerbs you could have. The Jews who wrote that passage probably didn't even know that. They were like "and then one day Moses told pharaoh what his dream meant," like that was something an ordinary slave could do on a lark. The Jewish mind, folks.

PS egyptian snake charmers can make a snake stand up straight like a staff right now, today. What was Moses really doing that day?

Edit Joseph interpreted the dreams, Moses did the snake trick. Still, both would have known the pharoah's name. Why are Jews afraid to say it?
