4chan was FULL of wild, deranged, and smart stuff. /Lit/, /b/, /pol/, etc were all very active and doing things irl.
Twitter was a wild west.
Youtube was barely moderated.
Bodybuilding fora. Blogs. Comment sections.
None of these places really exist anymore, or they do they are bland and corporate and heavily curated.

As a bonus, you get a nice written transcript of the presentation so there's a chance you may actually refer to it later.
