Most 90s western devs aren’t alive atm. Andy O’Neil is dead and Gen X. Joe Miller left us all too soon. Then there’s countless more Gen Xers such as Michael John Matsch, Ryan Brant, Jim Mackonochie, Mark Adams, Paul Steed, Jeremy Soule, Erik Bethke, Hal Milton, Daniel Cook, and Keith Zabalaoui. It’s hard to write about anything when you’re dead fwiw. Life is meaningless btw

“ An example: War Gods did very well on Nintendo 64. For PlayStation, however, it might as well have never released. Throw a cracker to a starving child and watch him devour it. A child with a full stomach, however, may need something a little less bland to excite his taste-buds.”

“ Some of the major players included: Rare, LucasArts, Acclaim, Electronic Arts, Virgin, and, of course, Midway (which then, incidentally, was still going by the name Williams). Many were skeptical, dubbing Nintendo's cream of the crop "The Nightmare Team," pointing an accusing finger at Midway in particular and its library of games”
