So many great memories in that part of the world for me, it’s hard to assess it IMPARTIALLY, to be honest with you 🐢

It showed how far white culture had fallen. We got to compare apples to apples. This was our best doing what we used to do routinely 60 years ago. Hollywood stars used to be legit triple threats. Gosling and Stone were atrocious dancers and nobody could sing.

Hot take: The fact that they were no better than decent singers was nice and endearing and made the movie seem more genuine and relatable than it would have if they were belting out tunes like Broadway stars.

I'm hoping that it has a bit of a revival. I thought the music and images were great in that movie.

Seems like Hollywood loved it then decided to bury it because of Black Lives Matters and the fact that its a white guy talking about jazz (to be fair, the jazz worrship is the worst part of the movie by far).

This guy cinemas. People have to stop pretending that a tiny movie about some repressed black man called Moonlight that no one ever watched somehow is one of the greatest movies of all time.
