We need to round up massive numbers of people and force them into camps under the strictest of controls for food intake and exercise regimen. In the name of science. No joke.
I 100% believe that some people are born with the genetics that make achieving certain fitness goals much harder/easier. People are definitely not the same.
But top tier doesn't make sense for most people.
Not being a chronically ill, morbidly obese piece of shit is far more important for society as a whole.
It fascinates me the way some people are committed to eating, most especially women. It's one thing to eat gc slop takeout (more like delivered these days), but the ones who essentially meal prep like a bodybuilder with 6x daily meals/snacks, except with the end result of being a whale, are the ones I can't wrap my head around.

the drugs work because they reduce excess appetite which is an entirely subconscious biological process in the body. something no one has conscious control over. fat people aren't "undisciplined" in the sense that they're just randomly eating for no reason. they're responding to their body's overwhelmingly powerful signals to eat, which can be suppressed with GLP drugs

after a certain age, it takes a ton of work and discipline to be fit and healthy. being morbidly obese also takes an incredible amount of lack of control and devoting yourself to being disgusting.

The hardest part is a lack of access to healthy food and excellent home cooked meals. If you eat mostly lean meats, vegetables, and low glycemic carbs and get sugar from fruit it's almost impossible to get fat. This is what most traditional cuisine is. But no one has any Time to sit around and cook. Cooking is ultra expensive and there are no SAHMs anymore. Two working adults always on the go. Most people in high level careers are under a massive amount of stress to perform and be ultra productive. And if you're not any good at cooking health meals taste like absolute dogshit.
A lot of times white collar workers are going to compensate from the stress with food. Food is fuel for the brain and if you're doing a hard mental job you can't just be on a diet and mad irritable and you can't think because your stomach hurts and you have no blood sugar. So people slam fast burning carbs and junk food. All of western civ revolves around junk food. So yeah dedicate yourself to cooking all the time amidst your busy life and put diet #1 in an ultra competitive world and make so much money you have a wife with nothing better to do than cook for you. Also never go out with friends to a bar and restaurant where you'll be surrounded by people gorging themselves on 1500 calorie meals and drinks. So yeah other than that it's super easy to stay shredded for life.
All the fittest people live in Mediterranean countries with dysfunctional governments, do-nothing careers, easy government job, lots of paid vacation and 2 hour lunch break in the middle of the day, high trust trad culture where everyone gets married and there's no stress in your life and no one owns a big home and all your neighbors have the same amount of money as you do. Mhm. Just that simple anyone can move to Italy and kick back and eat tomatoes and do nothing in life.

I grew up with a really unhealthy diet.
My parents didn't cook at all so just about every meal was eating out: pizza, fast food, chinese, pasta etc. We ate barely any vegetables and zero fish.
I played sports year round and was a naturally skinny kid, so I wasn't really impacted by my poor diet. At the end of HS I was about 150-160lb at 5'11".
In college, I was no longer nearly as physically active so my shit diet plus excessive alcohol consumption multiple times per week led to weight gain.
As I got older and entered a stressful career, my eating became impulsive until I stepped on the scale and weighed 250lb late last year.
