2. I know my height limits most of my interactions with men and women. Men don't respect me. Women don't want to date me.
3. I had 3 serious girlfriends. One in college. She got kinda fat. I grew distant. One after college. She had mental health issues. And then a serious, nearly marriage girl, but after years of being together I uncovered more personality quirks, really bad shit, and made the very difficult decision to end it because I thought we wouldn't work well together forever.
4. I don't want male children to inherit my short genes and be fucked like me. I might actually like a little girl. But I think in general the gene pool is better off without me, plus I really could only mate with a low status female because of my height. I just think the grind of doing it isn't worth the cost. I have just resigned myself to this life.
5. Am I ugly? I don't think so. I have a full head of hair. I'm not autistic at all but I don't know how to prove that. I am probably a smidge above average looking and my personality is not that of a lawyer.
6. I am good at my job, but plenty of guys are good at their job and fucking terrible with women. They're totally mutually exclusive. I think this is evidence that my social skills don't suck, though, because I was able to climb the ladder which requires some social IQ.
7. My mom always encourages me to get back out there but my dad has an ethos of me doing whatever makes me happy. I have siblings with kids so there's no grandkid let down. Actually it means even a little part of my DNA continues on, despite my inceldom.
The hardest thing is that some people assume I'm gay and it's hard to rebut that assumption when I have no gf.

1. 5'7-5'8 is short but it doesn't preclude you from the dating market. Look at CSLG, that little midget cleans up with women. Or look at obeezy, the 5'4" hot stud hockey enforcer. If they can do it why can't you?
2. "Men don't respect me. Women don't want to date me." Height is a factor in respect and dating but there are lots of other factors. I assume you have other qualities that are repellent, like Michael Doodikoff's strange utter repellence to all women in existence.
3. What is "more personality quirks, really bad shit"? Anyway, if you are in your late 30s or early 40s then you're still within the age range of women looking to settle in their young 30s. The older the get the more money you will need for a widening spread, though. $350k/year is fine if you are in the age range discussed if you want a marriagable woman who can have kids.
4. Not trying to convince you otherwise, but yeah, you would probably have to grind it out. Go for a 5'5-5'6" woman if you're that worried about kid height.

Even short chicks, like 5'2" women, want to wear several inch heels and then expect the guy to be an additional several inches taller than them. That puts the bar at 5'10" for a lot of women.
I understand their are outliers, but my general experience is that height is the most significant limitation on a man, and I drew the short straw here.
People don't tell me "you gay!" but I just sense it. Like a work dinner with spouses. And then it's just me. By myself.
I've just settled into this life and while this contradicts my above point about depression, I am actually content. Maybe my views are poisonous, but my height is an all-consuming specter that haunts my everyday life. |
