An old classic.
For context, this was posted about a week or so after TMF was laid off from biglaw.

No, I still think we will be rich. I don't expect 5-6 million, but I find 3 million to be a very realistic goal. And although that may not be enough to allow you to do anything you want, it is certainly enough to make you feel rich in most parts of the world.

No, I aspire to nouveau rich. Nouveau middle would involve a McMansion in some suburb of a second rate city. I aspire to multiple properties (to both use and rent out), millions in the bank and in various securities, great car, great apartment in the city and a great villa outside the city, the ability to travel the world, eat a great restaurants, etc. But no, I don't ever think I'll have over a billion dollars (unless the dollar really, really depreciates).

Are they really? What ever happened to Boor? Did he go to med school? Did a female ever let him touch her?
Can't remember who pedestrian is. Other monikers?
Also, not in Moscow, so can't meet up with them.

Tcr. Where I work the real liftoff it's at director level where you get LTI (long term incentive) bonus. If I can get that (which would be my next promotion) then I'll be in Nutella range comp. It is also a tiny percentage of the workforce that is that or above.
