So this is the latest update on my case. I was told to come to the office Tuesday (today) and I did. I lawyered up since last week and my lawyer told me to allow them to fire me. I walked into the room where the three main partners and HR would be talking to me. The partners didn't really speak, HR simply said that my work had been subpar during the last few months and that I had a court appearance that I had failed to attend without proper notice. Because of that and because I had not properly notified them of my extended absence, they were terminating me.
At that point I started to sweat and literally began having a panic attack. All what ran through my head were the xo messages everybody wrote on my original thread. I began by telling them that I had told all my coworkers I was gay the day I left and that they were discriminating me. Then I also mentioned that I had received great reviews from the main partner in my last case, to which they replied that "emails are not formal evaluations that determine my performance" and that missing a court appearance was a serious offense.
At that point I literally started crying and begged them to give me a second chance. Then I begged for severance. They claimed that missing court cost them a lot of money and that I was not entitled to a severance package because of that.
I basically stormed out of the office cursing and threatening to sue them for discrimination. They were all speechless. When my lawyer heard of this he said he was no longer representing me and now I'm completely screwed.
What should I do at this point? Should I claim constructive discharge and discrimination?

Lol, just read your other thread where you are asked what the outcome of the case was and you're too chickenshit to respond and even get MAF. I think this thread is 180 and a great depiction of why you're so reluctant to update.

I know it was stupid, I guess I lost control. Never been in this position before and it was about 6 people in the room looking at me, that's pretty tough to handle, tbf.

JFC at people who can't read. I did not claim to be gay until AFTER they had given me the notice of termination and handed me the non-disclosure, so they did not fire me based on that. In fact, I did not even sign the non-disclosure agreement. Like I said, I stormed out after trying to negotiate with them failed.

Dude, have you never seen Fight Club? What u are supposed to do is beat the shit out of yourself in your bosses office and make it sound like he's beating you. Then you walk out of the office all bloody in front of witnesses. Did Tyler Durden teach you nothing?

what state are you in? by and large, you can't claim fag discrimination under title vii (you can backdoor it heh by arguing you acted like a fruity queer and people discriminated against you for not "acting like a man" but i doubt you could even claim that with a straight face here).
if you are in a jurisdiction that recognizes sexual orientation discrimination, you can file a charge and hope for a nuisance settlement because the agency likely will find no probable cause since you made all this up. also, since this is a law firm they will likely say go fuck yourself, lawyer up and fight you.
in addition, you likely will be certifying by signing your charge that the contents are true. by lying you open yourself up to prosecution (unlikely) or trouble with the bar (probably still unlikely but possible).
this is also career-ending, because no firm is going to want to touch you if you file a claim.
