madison wanted the elites to control america, so he combined as many factions of the masses into a single voting district as possible...the more divided the populace, the easier for the elites to conquer....at this point in time, the american populace is more divided by distance, race, culture, language, etc than ever before...thus, under the divide et impera maxim, american elites should be more out of control now than ever..and indeed they are... |
