Hello friends in Reddit! I want to thank you all for your posts and advice. Thanks to this community, I've slowly getting over my infatuation with a friend of mine. Maybe it's because he's a famous Youtuber in japan, or maybe it's because I've been lonely, but yes I'm changing.
I still care for this perosn even while I'm trying to stop romantic feelings. He has diagnosed with diabetes and has been trying to live a healthier life. He hasn't been eating healthy. He tried to eat 100 gyoza potstickers on a challenge from our community members. He ate so many and got close, but I'm worried that this will hurt his health. He's also eating many bad vending machine foods that he shouldn't. I try to talk to him, but I made him a little angry by talking so much in our chat.
I hope that by still caring for this person, that I'll start to go backwards on my progress to change. It's ok to still care about someone that you once had feelings for, right? I'm a caring person, and even when my goldfish died, I felt so bad. I just want my friend to be ok. What should I do? Just ignore the problem? It's almost like I'll feel bad for stopping to care. |
