Bernie was possibly the Dem candidate with the strictest border enforcement policies and he won an outright majority of the *Democratic* Hispanic vote early on.
Like any other group employed primarily in service/industrial jobs, they care about union protections and health care. They also seem to, oddly enough, favor politicians who don't want to turn Latin America into an American colony. |
