Over time - re-watches of eg The Wire seem dated and very obviously a product of the early 2000s tv, Fargo is great but an anthology, The Leftovers is great but has major flaws, etc
But as time goes by, it just seems like Deadwood is putting more and more distance between itself and any contenders, the dialogue is clearly GOAT, expanse of characters, themes of order without law and a lawless fontier community transmogrified through blood and mud into a civilized society. It's also incredibly hilarious |

Right now plan is to rewatch Deadwood, then baseball will be back. But yeah i feel you there's fucking jack shit.
HBO is such garbage - all their new dramas suck and half the stuff seems like it's catering to woke intersectional teens.... |

the first episode of their 'gritty' Perry Mason or w/e was plodding, dull, and didn't make me want to see subsequent episodes at all. the Chris Rock season of Fargo had like 11 of 12 episodes in the can, but now the whole thing is on indefinite hold because of the chink virus, FTGE! |
