Side story: Kramer becomes obsessed with trying to make the perfect flan "just like they served for dessert. You should have been there Jerry! It was amazing!" In doing so, he keeps setting off the building's smoke alarm.

b story involves george being rejected by a woman because of "delta concerns". he argues with her that it's fine as long as they use "protection", referring to having intercourse with a mask on but not using condoms, because "we're tested!" kramer, on the other hand, is a corona skpetic, but is adamant about using condoms, refusing to believe any degree of proof about a person's std status is sufficient to risk not using a condom. the episode concludes in the coffee shop, revealing george has contracting a benign but embarrassing std. kramer gloats about george's reliance on masks but not condoms, but ominously cannot taste the pastrami on rye he ordered.

the tertiary plot involves elaine downplaying the hysteria of the insurrection. although she is adamantly anti-trump, because she mildly doubted that the insurrection was a major threat to the country, she is increasingly branded a trump supporter, and becomes the office pariah. her office and employees turn against her. she increasingly displays more and more devotion to being anti-trump, but convinces no one. she is eventually contacted by the secret society of pro-trump employees. she is tempted to joining the pro-trump contingent because of handsome coworker she is interested in. the plot concludes with her giving a passionate speech about tolerance and against cancel culture, which is interrupted by the handsome trumper disavowing her and pledging his allegiance to the anti-trump employees, having used betraying elaine to rejoin the majority and convince the anti-trumpers of his devotion. at the conclusion of the episode at the coffee shop, the gang inquires about whether she is still "leading the resistance", and she says they all forgot about she created a new scapegoat by turned the mob against the handsome employee by saying he "made her uncomfortable". the gang laments how this is a new "get out of jail free card" for women, but elaine shrugs, sarcastically quipping "that sounds pretty anti-woman to me, fellas", prompting the rest of the gang to shift uncomfortably in their seats while mumbling platitudes about supporting feminism.

the final joke is kenny bania coming into the diner wearing a "44 at 60" hat. he gloats about what a great time he had and wonders why jerry wasn't there. he then mentions he spent some time alone in the hot tub "with a real hottie from atlanta". jerry claims he decided not to go because of delta, and bania says "what? there's nothing to worry about if you use protection". he notices kramer has slid his pastrami sandwich away, and asks if he's going to finish it. without waiting for a response he takes a huge bite, and immediately says, with his mouth full of sandwich "you know, the food at the vineyard has ruined me... i can't taste this thing at all". the gang looks at each other knowingly and the outro plays.
