In general, this board and the online right in general are extrapolating too much from her shitty nomination run in 2020.
That was a different set of circumstances.
She was a terrible candidate, but this cycle probably sets up better for her.
Then, she was 1 of 10 or so libs trying to standout to Dem primary voters fully in the grasp of TDS, it encouraged her to ask like a shrill put upon lib, which comes off as unlikable on anyone, but she wore it especially poorly.
She'll have far more room to act like a moderate this time around.
Additionally, in terms of speechwriters and campaign talent in general, last time she was working with 1/10th of the talent base, this time she'll get the cream of that crop.
As much as the tuned in political people think they know her, to the broader electorate, she's largely a blank canvas. |
