I think in some ways he's anti-Palin in a good way
biggest knocks against him are that he's a grifter and a hypocrite, which is true, but that's baked into most people's views of politicians. And, bluntly, it's hard to imagine the people who'd be turned off by Vance's grift and hypocrisy who wouldn't already be turned off by Trump's (sort of like how Kamala's refusal to coordinate with consensus reality paled in comparison to Joe's issues there) |

People on xoxohth don't like Vance for whatever reasons ignoring that all politicians are grifters because all all leaders are grifters whether it's politics or corp or military. I acknowledge I'm a grifter and I've kissed too many asses to get where I am today but those are the rule of the game to get ahead. But Vance is intellectually serious if you pay attention to what he's been doing and saying in the last few years. He's no Palin airhead. |
